Customer Service Representative

Description 

Handles customer questions, concerns and billing inquiries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism to resolve customer issues.

Communicates with customers using web-based tools. 

Demonstrates proficiency in typing, spelling and grammar. 

Has detailed functional knowledge of company products, cloth diapering practices and operations. 

Demonstrates continued and consistent proficiency in the skill sets utilized within the Call Center. 

Customer Service Representative may assist in training new employees. 

Employee will be required to perform other duties as assigned by management. 

General Duties: 

The essential functions listed below represent duties performed by this job title. Duties generally include, but are not limited to, the following: 

Answers customer/client requests or inquiries concerning products and billing. 

Reports any problem areas to appropriate staff member in order to resolve.

May be required to work in one or multiple queues.

Responsible for improving customer retention through excellent customer service. 

Continually maintain working knowledge of all company products, policies and promotions. 

Make recommendations according to customer's needs on products and accessories. 

Utilize operational systems to process purchases of company product. 

Maintaining customer relationship with upkeep of customer registries through excellent customer service, 

Required Qualifications: 

At least 18 years of age.

Excellent verbal and written communication. 

Exceptional computer skills. 

Energetic. 

One year of customer service work experience. 

One year of experience in sales-driven position. 

6 months of experience operating a computer in Windows- based environment. 

Familiar with forums, facebook, twitter, and other online social networking tools. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Ability to prioritize and organize effectively. 

Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet). 

Ability to use professional presentation skills. 

Ability to read, write and speak the English language in order to communicate with employees, customers and suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communication, in a clear, straight-forward and professional manner. 

Ability to work independently. 

Knowledge and ability to use the following office equipment: computer, telephone, copier, fax, calculator and stapler.

Knowledge of all functions and related tasks in the area of customer relations. 

Knowledge of company products and cloth diapering products. 

Knowledge of office procedures. 

Tests: 

Applicants will be expected to pass any assessments associated with the position.
